This is honestly the first time in years that I’ve defended OBj. At least since Lena Dunham attacked him for not talking to her.

His drunk game needs some work. He's not representing the boot well if that was his drunk game. Gonna have to step it up a few notches.

Why can’t fans criticize OBJ’s behavior and still not hate him?

You're a fking dumbass if you can't see the potential harm of his actions.

On second thought, you're a fking dumbass anyway.

Ran into him in a restaurant couple years ago. He was friendly and courteous, and I can assure you he loves LSU

I knew by the time I was 22 or 23 that I was free to get plastered wherever and whenever I wanted, but if I didn’t want to be seen that way by certain people or do something that might come back to bite me later, then I needed to keep a handle on it in certain situations. And most people didn’t even have camera phones then and I was no celebrity. It was just an awareness that it’s a whole lot easier to frick up your life or someone else’s when you’re wasted.

I don’t care that he was drunk or that he might have embarrassed himself. It happens. I care that it wasn’t the time or place to be THAT intoxicated, and it had repercussions beyond his own experience. If the guy doesn’t have a better grasp on that by now, then he probably needs help.

He just proved that weed is way better than alcohol and should be legal in all 50 states.

Nobody would be doing all that shite on weed.

"Oh, ok. So he was drunk, or high. No problem. Don't worry about getting LSU in trouble with the NCAA. He's a self centered media whore"

Although it will have to e dealt with, "LSU" did nothing wrong.

The LSU kids had just delivered a well deserved Football National Championship, and this lunatic just has to get himself some air time.

I certainly don't know him..........and he may be a great guy..................but he acts like a moron.

Peace.

He had a sideline pass. You owe it to the coach and everyone else not to get drunk enough to do something this stupid. Even drunk, how did he think that was a good idea?

To answer your question, I can’t stand Odell anymore. Think of how disrespectful to O and all of LSU that was. He hasn’t done shite in the NFL in a few years and needed attention even if he had to frick up LSU’s National Championship night to get it. Maybe he didn’t totally screw it up, but he sure in the hell tried. That’s bad enough

I know, right? He hasn't had a bunch of other shenanigans since he left LSU. Oh, wait ...

Some of you people are relentless in your blind and stupid defense of indefensible things and people.

We have all done dumb things, but getting drunk makes you do dumb things because it compromises your judgment. I am no better than OBJ, I need grace & mercy everyday b/c of the dumb things I do on a consistent basis

short-term effects of alcohol can include:

Lowered inhibitions, leading to poor social judgment.

Trouble concentrating.

Loss of coordination.

Loss of critical judgement.

Dulled perception, especially vision.

Mood swings... etc

You know, being drunk may seem to be the normal status quo for many of the big mouths along these threads. For the rest of us earth people who labor in reality, I assure you - it’s not.
