Given the Texans inability to get beyond the Divisional round (and in spectacular fashion) and the Rockets inability to get past a GS team with the Warriors stars injured or banged up, Houston’s sports scene is rather embarrassing. The one positive is the Astros, and even that organization has managed to tarnish a crowning achievement.
A lot better than one or two of the teams being awful which is the case in most cities currently

Speaking of sand, though...
Yes, the sand is blinding your ability to see the entire situation clearly. This allegation could be completely false, it still doesn’t make the organization innocent throughout this offseason.

Chances that Bregman & Altuve don't have any more monster seasons going forward?

Statistics are irrelevant for this stuff.
Let’s say a player has 500 ABs. Assume half of those are on the road. Now your sample size is 250 ABs.
The question now becomes, how often was a player alerted to a pitch via trash cans and/or buzzing. Some players surely didn’t want this going on. Maybe a player only wanted to know once a game. Who knows?
Of those 250 ABs, how many times was a hitter tipped off? What happened on those pitches? How many were taken? Fouled away? Resulted in outs?
You can argue this didn’t help much at all. From a statistical standpoint, it may have little to no effect.
But when you look at a 7 game series decided by extra inning games and last AB heroics. One hit could make a huge difference.

Realistically, I’m hesitant to buy the story, especially since it mentions star players. Altuve has always been one of the game’s greatest hitters. Bregman’s spike has been interesting to watch.
With that said, it’s ignorant to disregard this stuff right away.
Jose Canseco didn’t make many friends when he published books about steroids. He has money to make. He also spoke the truth.

Bregman is super choosie with his pitches and will wait, I could see how he’d benefit
Altuve swings at everything. He’ll be fine

The people claiming Altuve used some sinister system to help him select pitches to swing at, never watched him play. He swings at absolutely everything Vlad Guerrero style.

I never said you made a statement like that.

Understood. My position from the beginning has been that I’m disappointed that the Astros got into any of this, but I’m quite sure that it’s much more widespread than just the Astros. That’s starting to come out now, and I think there’s much more to come.

this is crazy... kind of makes sense
Except for the fact Beltran's "niece" would know nothing about this years team.

Now that Beltran is out, how about we start digging into the 2019 Yankees, given that the Cora and Beltran are the two main figures? Since Cora was cheating in Boston, it’s logical Beltran would be cheating in his role of “special” adviser to the Yankees.
Go look at Beltran's stats his last year in New York in 99 games. All of sudden figured it out again, lets investigate that year as well.

They revoke that title, I will be first in line trying to get money back for games I attended that "didn't happen"
