Step up. It's time to shine.

but here's to hoping we can get at least 75-80% of that production.
We would be damn near untouchable again with 75% of this year's production. I'm hoping for 50%-60% of this years production and if we get that, I'd be ecstatic.

Anyone else think that if the staff feels Brennan is the answer going forward, their best option is to bring up Munoz to take over and try to keep the new system as similar as possible?

I'm all in for whomever our QB is but I'm 99% sure it will be MB
I like the idea of recruiting great QBs and making them better while they wait for the keys to be handed over to them
MB could've left and started at a ton of programs but he stuck it out and learned all he could and took the opportunity to work on his weaknesses and will likely be fire this next season
This time next year we'll be concerned about him heading to the draft or staying one more year

Only thing I'm worried about him is pocket presence. He has all the physical tools to succeed but we'll have to see next year.

Yes, the hallmark of LSU's fans...patience.
After a title? Unless we lose 6 games, I don’t think anyone will complain.

Myles' hair>>>>>Trevor's hair.

Cant help but thinking any talk about bringing D King in here cant help BMs self confidence.
Has there been any actual talk from within the program of bring in King, or has it all just been message board talk by the fans? I haven't seen anything to suggest the coaches were interested in bringing him in, but maybe I missed it.

I hope the fanbase has some patience.
Have you been around here? Hell, look at the posts from the first quarter Monday night. Patience is not a strong suit here.

Following Burrow will be tough. I’ve been there on a much lesser scale in another walk of professional life- following greatness. it’s a psychological battle and requires a battle against creeping insecurity. You have to actively tune out the commentary and hone in on your job. Myles will have to be tough and have thick skin and not get preoccupied by any mistakes he makes.

Myles will be fine and it would be really cool for a local kid to the this team to the promised land. Just looking at turnover I doubt we get back next season, but I have 2021 circled as LSU being back in the hunt.

Had Burrow simply been great, I think Brennan would catch more heat from the fans. However, Burrow was so spectacular no one realistically expects anyone to mimic it, so maybe there will be a little more understanding, even for the rant.

No nothing from the staff... and frankly, I hope it stays that way.
MB is ready.

His learning curve will be in preparation (understanding defenses), being able to read through his progressions, and always being aware of his opportunities. A lot of that just takes time. Hopefully this spring allows him to grow and get that exposure with the offense. We need the OL to block better than ever too.

quote:I don't know if leadership is a learned trait or genetic....but the most important thing for Myles this past season...was to watch and observe Joe's actions and to duplicate Joe's work ethic.
Myles Brennan has next at LSU: 'It's what I've been waiting for'
Myles is saying the right things....Burrow's season may never duplicated.

Yea, I'm not sold on King. I'd much rather roll with Brennan.
Posted on 1/15/20 at 10:46 am to The Egg
LSU has a good QB situation for a change. Brennan has the skills, and has had the chance to experience the result of the work, and he has learned HOW to work for a championship. There are also some solid QBs Behind him that can also learn and develop. We have a head coach and staff that understands the priority of great QB play. The big key here is to build on this foundation, and I am confident O has a good plan. He has a deep well of resources he will call upon to keep things rolling.
