I can't imagine the pressure he's going to be under with all that Joe accomplished this season

If he’s a 3500+ yard, 30 TD guy who doesn’t create turnovers. We can’t be anything but appreciative

We can't expect him to be Joe. It doesn't mean he can't be a good qb though.

I honestly don't think it will be that bad. Pretty much everyone I know has acknowledged that we'll never see something like this again.

You don't have to be as good as this team was this year to win championships. But you have to field a good offense and a good defense, and moving forward there is no way coach O is going to just accept us going back to the stone ages offensively.

Well he will have no shortage of weapons

3 good RBs

Chase, Marshall, Arik Gilbert, Boutte

Probably at least 3/5 OL return

No pressure. He should accept the fact that Burrow is the best of all-time. All he can do is trying to play the best he can. We accept 3000+ yard and 11 win season, as long as we beat Bama.

Vegas has him at 10-1 to win the Heisman next year. This could legit be an OU/USC situation where one Heisman winner just hands it off to the next. Which would be insane.

Last night should show him that you don’t have to be perfect to win. That was one of Joe’s lowest % completion games last night.

Don’t worry he has all the weapons he need and he’s going to have stable of running backs and a mean arse huge offensive line. I won’t be surprised if he see a bigger running game to help Brennan out.

Honestly - I wasn't terribly optimistic about Burrow after the Fiesta last year. It's entirely possible that once he gets hosed down with Brady juice, he could come very close to the second coming of Joe Burrow. Brennan has watched - at arm's length - Burrow raise the bar and re-define the position. He now knows what's possible.... and that counts.

Guaranteed this board will want him benched the first time he isn’t completing 75% of his passes in the first game next year.

2 things on Brennan.

1. We will know what kind of QB he will be when he hits the field vs. Texas

2. Brennan tells the story of Joe Brady. Is he really the savior of LSU offense or was it Joe Burrow all along? I think that’s the storyline of 2020. If Brennan has a solid season and is a formidable QB and leads them to 10-11 wins next year, I personally feel that’s when we know Joe Brady is the real deal

We will win differently next year with a running game and timely passing. I think the defense could be better next year. Because Bama is at home, I still think we can be a playoff team.

honestly he got to watch the best college qb of all time, If he is serious about football and emulates what joe did in the off season and how he prepared for games, I think he will be just fine.

All he needs to be is the best he can be. Something between our historic average QB and Joe B.

If they make the offense for him, then that will give us the best chance of success.

Asking him to do what Burrow did would be a disaster because he's not Burrow.

Fortunately we have a stable of good RBs. We won't have to rely so much on his arm.

There are two traits that have been crucial to Burrow’s success that really get over looked, and will likely be trigger points for fans in regard to Brennan if he is the QB next year

1)extending plays in the pocket

2)mobility escaping pocket for 1st down/ designed runs

It became such second nature to watch Burrow do this all year, never realizing just how rare that is.

With Brennan, LSU will be sacked a whole lot more, & they will punt a whole lot more.

Multi threat QBs make the world go round in CFB in 2020. Brennan will have his moments but in the end he is capped because he isn’t mobile & he’ll never have the pocket awareness Joe had. These are things that are not privy to any system. It won’t just be turnkey

There may be some pressure, but to think Myles will have the same success as Joe is dumb. He is a once in a lifetime QB. I actually think Myles will be chomping at the bit to get the keys to this program next year. I just hope he shadowed Joe all year, and learned what it takes to be a great QB. Extra work & practice, film study, etc... I also hope him and the WR's are already playing catch and putting in all the extra hours that Joe did with his group. LSU is on the rise, and I dont see this program slowing down in the near future.

I'm sure Brady/Ensminger will find the right fit for him... perhaps more run in the RPO option.... He will still have great receivers as well.
