I’m a Cowboys fan, I’m happy with the hire of McCarthy. Can someone please refresh my memory on why he left Green Bay?

Scheme got stale. Supposedly in his year away from football he’s changed.

He was fired so his key card stopped working and I guess he figured he probably shouldn’t live in Green Bay anymore because there’s not a huge job market for NFL HC located in that city

His offensive scheme was lazy hot garbage that had grown stale and everyone had figured out. Rodgers was sick of it, looking at other creative offenses with multiple route trees.

There were also rumors that he basically worked it was a 9 to 5 job and would skip Saturday walk-thrus to have massages in his office.

Maybe he learned his lessons.

It wasn’t working between him and Aaron, and you can’t get rid of Aaron

Good read. Thanks for posting.

I go back to really the first thing my wife said to me, the first moment Jessica and I were alone and talking about what happened. She said, 'Don't take this the wrong way, but I'm relieved for you.' I kinda gave her a look. And she said, 'The last two or three years, you haven't been here physically or mentally. Every family loses their husband, father during the season, but you've been gone the last two offseasons. I know you're not happy with the way things were going there, and it's beat the hell out of you. It's beat the hell out of you the last couple of years. It's been hard to watch it.'

His downfall was refusing to run the ball. The mystery is will he use elliot.

he was the scapegoat to blame for rogers losing winnable games

in short they blamed the HC for the QB fricking up routinely

rogers whole career has been to take credit for what the team does and blame the HC when rogers makes mistakes that cause them to lose games
