It's not your fault that your team is over-rated. You'll see Monday night.

Unless you have the same players across the board, (which you don’t) this is absolutely irrelevant.

Quit living in the past dumbass, this is the present.

By that logic, using any past games your team played this year against teams that don't have Clemson's current players cannot, and shall not, be used for any analysis on the game. That makes for pretty lame pre-game smack talk doesn't it?

That's not his logic at all.

For fricks sake, man, you seriously might be the dumbest person I've seen post here.

It was 31-16 at half. Bama got the ball first and turned the ball over on downs inside the red zone.

GFY.

So the 2 defenses that compared most similarly to Clemson were UGA and Auburn. LSU averaged 30 and 495 against those 2 teams. 23 full drive and 7 total TDs for a TD% of 30%. I would expect something pretty similar in the Natty.

You have to really split hairs to make a case based on the numbers that Clemson looks like the favorite. Also, as has been mentioned, Clemson doesn't have anyone on the line as good as Derrick Brown so yall don't look that much like Auburn (plus seriously even with Brown they were super lucky to only give up 23 based on the near 500 yards of offense they gave up).

Edit: I would also add it isn't like I just excluded the 4th best defense you played when you scored 62 points because it would have been convenient for my argument.

If you actually think OU was the 2nd best offense, then you must think Clemson is the #1 defense.

I do and I do. Because—you know, facts.

Not sure what your point is. ...not hating, just confused.

You never commented on UNC.

You cherry pick to fit your narrative.

Monday is going to be so good.

Do come back here when you lose.

It would be unrealistic for LSU fans to think we will do to Clemson what we did to OU, but it seems equally silly for Clemson fans to think that 44-16 is a sign of what will happen Monday night.

44-16 was a flukey score in a perfect game for Clemson.
44 was more than they scored in 8 of their games last year. Was Bama the 9th best defense they faced?
Does anyone believe they hold Bama to 16 more than once if that game was played 5 times?
5 teams scored at least 16 against them. Was Bama the 6th best offense they faced?
No. Bama played a really bad game and Clemson played a really good one.
They have to hope that LSU shits the bed Monday night and that Clemson plays significantly better than it did in its last game.
We just have to hope our offense does basically what it's done all year no matter the opponent and that our defense continues playing its best football of the year.

Here's the actual stats:

LSU: 55/70 (78.5%) 68 total scores (97.1%)
Ohio State: 59/75 (78.6%) 67 total scores (89.3%)

Failed red zone possessions:
LSU: 2
