He reminded them they were 18-0 only to lose to the New York Giants in the super bowl. His message was finish the job!

Great message.
He was my favorite LSU player...until Burrow

Faulk was mine until Rohan came along.

LSU absolutely has the ability to do just that...
Finish the job.
Clemson is confident and talented and they've been on this stage before, and they're underdogs. They'll be motivated.
I think it will be important for LSU to start fast on both sides of the ball and go up a couple scores as quickly as possible.
Obviously, absolutely burying them beneath a barrage of fast scores early in the game like LSU did against aTm, Georgia, Oklahoma, would be best... but I feel like Clemson will put up a hell of a better fight than those teams.

As a kid growing up in the 90's. Faulk was a hero to everyone for his play on the field and choice to buck the trend of leaving the state to play. I imagine there aren't too many more respected than he is by the players.

There’s no one better to deliver that message. One of my favorites ever. I ran into him last year and it was hard not to be annoying. He was so good on so many mediocre teams.

It's an age thing...many on this board dont recall what is was like prior to 2001 and Saban.
Faulk was incredible.

The struggle was real....

That message probably really hit home to Thad as his dad was on that team. I can imagine the pain he felt watching his dad come so close. There is no question that this team will be ready for the moment.

Really glad Faulk is part of this program.
He's a legend. One of my all-time favorite Tigers, for sure.

Hell, I do. I was in grad school at LSU when he joined the team. I remember ALL OF IT. He's still one of the top three Tigers in my opinion.

#3 will always be my top Tiger. No doubt in my mind that Faulk would’ve won Heisman if he would’ve committed to Michigan. Maybe even 2. He didn’t get near the national respect he deserved. Faulk was an absolute baller and could play any position on that field. Dude was a beast. #FaulkEmUp

Faulk will always be my all-time favorite Tiger. He was on the team when I started going to games regularly back in 1997.

Didn't he have like 4 kids when he played at LSU?

Faulk made LSU relevant again. He was more than just a great player. he was a catylist that laid the foundation for where we are now and was one of the greatest all purpose backs to ever play the game. Total credibility when he speaks.

And, you're forgetting Herb. I know he's polarizing, but he was also a winner.
