Enough years of Dallas sports irrelevance made him quit

Sure do hate it. He made that OU cum swallower Corby tolerable

True “pioneer of the craft”. I have listened for over 15 years.

Wonder who will replace him. Sirios? Jake Kemp? anyone to keep that Corby in check. ESP college football season. Damn OU homer. I get it he’s friends with Switzer , but damn. Give it a rest

They may pull from The Fan. Many of the hosts have been around The Ticket.

I was bummed when I heard this today. I have listened to The Old Grey Wolf for 20+ years and it’s going to be different driving home now.
I’m curious to see what happens to the entire station now. I feel like it’s going to become even more corporate now that he’s gone and the format will change to way more sports and less music and hot chicks. Time will tell.
Stay hard, keep jammin’, and we’ll see ya...

The show became unlistenable over the last few years. Corby and Danny are freaking worthless and would stop down the show when mike would make a mistake with their hyena laughter. It got to be unbearable for me. Hopefully they’ll shuffle the lineup and put Jake in a more prominent place.

I think it’s almost certain they shake the lineups a bit. Hopefully George and Craig stick around for a bit or it’s over.

I like Mike Ducey when he fills in on dry dock. Not with corby though

The Musers will remain intact.
Norm & Donovan will shift when Norm retires next. Boom in the House will fill that slot.
I think the SMART play is to move Sturm to the Hard Line.
Leave Dan, Jake, & Julie together + perhaps an up & comer.
Then you'll have Sturm, Corby, Danny on the Hard Line for the 4 hours. You'll get strong NFL & Stars segments. Then some Mavs, Rangers, CFB, & E-News/Comm Quick Hits all stays in place. Concert Calendar may phase out.
If they don't move Sturm to afternoon drive, then idk how the Hard Line keeps its strangle hold on the ratings. They'll beed a legit sports guy in that slot. Corby ain't it. And Corby + Jake together will alienate everyone over 40.

He was a bore!
But it was great when Gordon kept him on the phone for a couple of hours on Saturday during the rant.

Skip Bayless or Chuck Cooperstein should replace him, imo. Or bring back Gregg the Hammer Williams.
