Asked if LSU offense is comparable to Bama last year. "No, they aren't similar to anybody." Says, everyone has tried spying Burrow, but the spy has to come after him "once he is in the cage." I assume that after watching the SECCG and the Peach, Venables will focus on not allowing Joe to make those plays outside of the pocket.
I would love to know two things that we will not be told:
-what looks is Joe being shown in practice to prepare him for what they think Clemson will do
-what is Joe Brady drawing up that nobody has seen from us this year
Given that the coaching staff felt like OU was not a top 10 team, I assume that some of what we saw in the Peach Bowl was put into the game plan to set up something for the title game. I'm thinking of the heavy focus on throwing to Jefferson despite other people being open and of lining up Chase in the backfield.
Might we see a screen play where both Chase and CEH are options?

That sounds a lot like a delayed blitz. I wonder if they rush four with the two DEs setting the edge & the two inside linemen working to the outsides to create a hole in the center of the OL for the spy to come after him.
Sounds great in theory but, will they be able to execute it in the game?
