Some nice bucks have been moving through nose to the ground. I haven't seen them since the last cold snap

Looking for some meat

Almost lost the electric ranger on a sketchy bridge this morning. Had to leave it up top and walk a mile back to camp to get the gas ranger. Park the ranger and see a big sow in the middle of the lane on the way to stand. Popped her in the arse. Hoping my shooting doesn’t mess anything up this morning.

Wind blowing my scent out to a lake. I hit the brown water last night so woke up late and didnt paddle in until after daylight. Was super quiet setting up and immediately started seeing deer. I'm going to do this more often.

Finally made it to Woodville yesterday afternoon due to all the rain Thursday. Hunted in the afternoon and saw nothing. It's good to see family and friends that I only see here once a year. I need to let the air our of something.

Off lower Centreville Rd

Had a big boar feeding in the middle of the field next to some of the houses.
He didn’t spook when I drove up and initially got out of the truck, but as I was getting the gun and bipod set up, he took off.
Lucky bastard. He’s a grade-A, big arse Russian boar (Sus scrofa)

Beautiful morning. All that rain has the creek flooded and they're moving. Saw two does in the plot at about 7am. Ran off into the woods and a spike comes out nose to the ground. Good luck OB
