Superdome Seat question

Been awhile since I’ve been to a game in the dome... what’s a better view/sight line - sideline 100s, or 300s? I remember that in the 100s below row 10 not a great view, and too far back, you were under the over hang.
Trying to decide what seats I wanna blow a ton of money on for the game.

Plaza sideline I wouldn't sit below row 10. My season tickets are row 19 and they have a great sightline.

Everyone is different, but I prefer the 300 level in the dome. My son is a former player & he prefers being closer to the field. I like to be high enough to be able to see a play develop, but not so far away I need the glasses :-)

300’s are best seat in dome

I do not know the dome that well, but it is a place where I do not dare drink too much. One gets the feeling that if one falls, he would land on the 50...on the field.
Always sat mid level and above... HIGH INCLINE IMHO.

quote:I remember the 2003 natty game. It was like you describe. Also, it appears that the market price for 300's is a little higher than the 100's.

300 sidelines are prime. Actually I like 500s better than 100.

Do not sit in the end zone 100's unless you have a front row action packed seat. You feel out of it.
Anywhere in the 300's are nice.
For view, I believe that the 500's are the best in the house, especially between the 20's. You are closer to the field than the sideline loge. I have season tickets to the Saints there.
You will stand the entire game in the 100's unless it is a blow out.
But in reality it will not matter for this game as it is an experience type event and not about the best view.

Thanks for the input sounds like you've spent some time in the dome what are your thoughts on first row of 507 ?

300s are Loge level. Best seats in the house.

Some of the best seats in the dome. My season tickets for Saints are 515 row 4.

300’s are great if you’re at the right spot on the field.

I have been all over the dome...it is my time share
I have never sat that far over at 507. I sat mostly in 519 and 517. I have tickets in row 1. It is awesome. You will not be blocked by the fiy in front of you. Great view
I sat endzone 500 level row 3 for several years and it was nice. Seats are on the same level as the top level suites.
Advantage of the loge is that it is not as crowded in concession and bathroom areas. It is more cozy. 500 level is a simple ingress and egress to your seats.

100 section sucks
Best seats are 200, but there are only 3-4 rows depending on where they are.
Next best is 300...then 500 (500 is like 200 though, only 3-4 rows)
500 is pretty sweet, still prefer 200 as absolute best in dome
Been Saints season ticket holder for 27 years and have had seats in every section over the years. Since landing in 200 section I haven’t accepted any upgrades offered

Anywhere in 300’s is better than the best spot in the 100’s

Anyone know what sections in the 300s are the LSU sections?

So it seems that the 500s aint so bad after all. Anyone ever sat in 509 or 507?
