Explain to me WHY Joe Brady should STAY at LSU?

He’s obviously one of the most sought after guys at this point...... I love LSU and have loved this special season, but the stats won’t be the same next year... he walked into a dream situation.... 22 year old (currently 23) quarterback and an offensive unit that returned guys at almost every position after going 10-3 the previous year.
So what does his pro’s and cons look like right now in yalls opinion?

For one, to gain further experience on how to be an OC..

Because LSU is just a cool place to be. Great coaches, great food, great fans, great players. What's not to love?

One, and foremost, he's awesome and deserves all the credit for this season.
Two, I want to see how he does next year without Burrow and after SEC coaches have more time to figure out his scheme. I think that will be the most telling of how good he is.

Well likely the fact that he will get to be some sort of offensive coordinator in waiting/co-offensive coordinator and a nice salary increase

One more big year he'll be able to pick and choose where he wants to go.

-Because some guys don’t want to be pro coaches? Who knows here what Brady prefers
-Because his talent pool at the skill positions at LSU will get him a head coaching job
-Because sometimes you feel an obligation to stick to a plan with an employer that gave you a chance and they are willing to invest in your talent.

BC LSU could be the most clear path for career advancement at this time.

First money. We don’t know what he is offered. Is he offered top dollar? Is he offered top dollar and co-offensive coordinator position? Is he getting offensive coordinator in waiting?
Going to another team college or pro he will have to start over. LSU he has done so well here he buys himself some wiggle room. Depending on the team he goes to pro he may be expected to perform right away or lose the job. Many different things to consider for him.

I think it’s risky for him to leave. Sure, he could get a big payday. But if he fails, he will forever be a one-hit wonder.
He’s a young guy and should be looking long term. He has a system at LSU and should stick around until he is ready.

Simple
He has the weapons around him at LSU to not only pull off this kind of offense, but pull it off in grand style. There is absolutely NO guarantee he can do this elsewhere. You can put this offense in place anywhere in this country, and most places do not have the quarterback, the O line, or the receivers and backs to pull it off.
That’s why he should stay at LSU until he gets a win win job opportunity.

Because he doesn’t want to STTDB

He does not have all of the knowledge that he needs to be successful YET. He needs a couple more years as an assistant to get the OC position down pat. Then sky’s the limit for this young man. Nobody in their right minds is going to bet on the come- 2.5 million a year for on the job training.

I would imagine he feels thankful to Coach O and LSU for taking a chance on him. And he will also be a very rich man.

I’m not sure why everyone doesn’t see the logic behind him staying. It’s a simple thing.
Why on earth would this man leave after going potentially 15-0 with all these weapons.
1.) it’s not guaranteed he will do this somewhere else because other teams don’t have the talent lsu has had this year. It’s a perfect storm of talent on the field at once in the perfect system, other places won’t have that.
2.) he’s about to get a serious pay raise and potentially the keys to the offense he just created.
3.) Louisiana has given this man nothing but love, id be shocked if he isn’t here for another 3 years.
4.) Caleb Williams. Once his protege wins another heisman expect him to go to the nfl and rightly so. He will have deserved it after producing two heisman winners.

Could give you a million reasons ($$$), first of all. LSU won’t let themselves be outbid for his services.
Other reasons:
1. Loyalty. Doesn’t go too far in the coaching profession but LSU gave him the platform he has right now. He may appreciate that.
2. Relationships. Brady and Ensminger seem to have almost a father-son bond that may carry some weight as LSU and Ensminger, a true LSU man, recruit him against other offers.
3. Professional Development. Brady has shown he can scheme. No one truly knows the division of labor between he and Coach E as far as calling the plays. It may be a huge step up in responsibility for him to take on the hundreds of other details that go into O.C and/or H.C. Does he want to risk being a flash in the pan wunderkind who everyone wants today but flames out tomorrow, or does he want to get paid a lot to continue developing at a still-fast but more slightly more controlled trajectory? Let’s say, co-OC next year, full O.C following year with E as an analyst, then head coach at a high major the following year once Brennan is done?
Anyway there are many compelling reasons for him to stick around for another 2-3 years. He won’t be here forever but there is a lot of room for professional and financial growth for him here going forward. I’m sure LSU will make its best pitch and if he goes, he goes.

Because if he gets into a situation like the browns, he could be looking for a new job in a year.

Brady will eventually leave, but you can't blame people for hoping he stays.

The most likely thing is we make him OC or co-OC as soon as anyone else of note is willing to make him OC. That buys us at least 1-2 more years.
Then we can fend off offers for any upper echelon OC jobs with raises, buying us another 2-3 years. After that if he wants to be HC, who knows but we’ll have had an amazing run.
