Top Billin shows how Clemson was effective with TL runs.

Clemson really did a good job of blocking at the point of attack. I believe OSU runs a 4-3 and Clemson was able to clear the middle of the OSU defense which allowed TL to attack the middle of their defense with his legs.

I don’t believe Clemson will be able to move Shelvin and Ika around like they did with OSU’s DTs.

OSU had an extra man in coverage. LSU will not.

Moving our d lineman is impossible. They’re all 320 pounders and Ika and shelvin are 350. Our more athletic d lineman are K’Lavon Chaisson, Marcel Brooks and JaCoby Stevens however we use them all over the field.

As long as the interior of the D stays stout and TL is forced to the outside it does two things:

1. Shrinks the field.
2. Plays right into the speed of our defense.

I like his analysis. Clemson will score but so will LSU. Clemson can be stopped. LSU can't.

seems eerily similar to what Mullet did to us last year with Flippy Franks.

We know what to look for.

My first instinct is to say no way they do it to us like they did tOSU, we're faster sideline to sideline... which would be completely self-delusional and false.

Have to beat off or at least stymie those OTs to set edge and let Divinity and Chaisson clean up.

People can talk all day about the Ole Miss game.

I love our run defense. All starts with Shelvin and Ika up front.

Our guards do better against size and strength than speed. Both are seniors and state high school wrestling champions. Gage Cervenka was National wrestling champion in High School.

Your speed scares me more than your size.

Speed kills. Clemson has it. OSU didn't.

Imo TL running so much in the semi had to do with what they gave us and part of the evolving game plan against you guys . Swinney probably wants to show the threat of the qb run to force you to bring more guys into the box . This is in order to get you guys in single coverage so that we can throw it up to our receivers on the outside and run a bunch of crossers with our inside guys . Just a guess but I have seen him set up teams before . In addition Galloway the TE that was blocking on all those qb runs is actually a move te so there will probably be some plays for him off that look . Don't know if any of it will work but just a guess .

OSU got sucked in, missed tackles, and left a wide open gap for qb run

Going to come down to the trenches
Dominate there LSU wins 48-24

Ika maybe, but there's not a OLine in college that is going to move Shelvin without committing at least two, which opens up a hole for someone like Chaisson or Divinity to come through.

Lol.
Yeah. Game plan was to totally fall behind and not throw or run well against OSU....wait for it.
In order to put that on tape for lsu.

Falling behind might not have been but running the qb was . They have run Lawerence more and more as the year went on . I wouldn't underestimate our O line . They are a pretty good group .

Reasonable enough take.

You’re getting downvoted because of the way your brethren behave on here.

That's a fair point...they looked pretty good into the big OSU dudes...
They crushed UVA...
