If LSU wins NATTY, Where does this team RANK ALL TIME?

Below is the write up in September 2019 of the 150 best ALL TIME TEAMS. Obviously, most of us are biased, but with the amount of awards won by individual players and the O-Line group, as well as All Americans selected.... this LSU Team would rank high if we beat Clemson.

If you take away all of the awards and just go purely off resume and quality of teams beaten, this is the GOAT team. That’s only if we beat Clemson.

With the amount of awards, especially coach and assistant coach, the heisman...
Beating that many top10 teams, kicking off the two juggernauts bama and Clemson in the same year.. gotta be close if not number 1

Let this sink in.... If LSU wins the Natty, they will have beaten 7 teams in the top 10. They will have played 15 games, so that means roughly every other game was against a team ranked in the top 10.
I feel like I'm being a massive homer and I'm over selling this great accomplishment, but I'm not. It's amazing, and I'd say that about any team that would accomplish it. No other team has though..... Ever.

Based on the ESPN Football Power Index, probably still third behind Ohio St and Clemson on the year.

To be determined. If we blow out Clemson, then we have a legit argument for best of all time considering the awards won and schedule. A close win and we are 5-10. Surprised 2001 Miami is only at 7.

Also, LSU will have beaten 6 of the last 10 teams (other than LSU) to have won a National Championship.

If you beat us and I hope you don't I would say 1st. You will have wins over 7 top ten teams . That's crazy . In ordrer for us to win we will have to play our best game and hope you all make mistakes . I honestly did not expect to get this far this year after losing literally half our defense to the draft . Next year we will be even bettter . You never know though that's why they play the game .

What I shite list. 2011 Bama ranked way to low at 51, 2003 Trojans ranked above 2003 LSU at 54, 1996 Florida at 74, North Dakota State gets a spot and about 50 of the 150 are from before 1925.
