My kid goes to Baylor. She looked over to me at end of 1st and said, Dad, I’m so happy we are playing GA.

The Shanle quote was money too.

Watching Clemson & Ohio State felt like you're watching a college football game as it should. When watch LSU especially offensively it's closer to what you see on Sundays:

The X's & O's matchups, timing, and execution is unmatched by other college football teams.

JB told his breakfast table mates the morning of the game he was going to put 70 on the Sooners. Not talking trash, just stating facts. With regards to his 7 TD passes, when you re-watch the game, look at how wide open several other WR's were, too. Moss could have easily had 10 - 12 receptions alone. JB just goes for the juggler.

Another reason why Les Miles sucks, but that's a discussion for another thread (and day).

I saw a mid-game tweet saying they should let the winner of the peach bowl dr. pepper halftime contest coach LSU in the second half.

JOE BURROW DRAFT PROFILE

I think Joe Burrow is in the conversation for the best college QB ever, BUT...

The pros will list his arm strength and deep ball accuracy as cons, not pros. Burrow doesn’t have a weak arm, but it’s a little below average for an NFL starter. And look at his deep passes. Very few are on the money. Most of the time his receivers are slowing down and high pointing the ball. And, No! These are not intentional back shoulder throws.

Burrow’s great strength is the same as Joe Montana. He can calmly evaluate the downfield coverages while easily seeing the pass rush And he has the athleticism to dodge the pass rush and gash the defense, either by throwing the ball, or by running.
