I think the team would have been laser focused to whip that arse and it would have been so satisfying to look at Ryan Day's face at the end.

Don't get me wrong, I'll take beating Clemson's arse, but Ohio State would have been sweeter.

I have lived all over the country, and OSU has one of the most prevalent fanbases everywhere I have been. All of their fans are annoying with their jerseys, bucknut necklaces and running around yelling OH-IO.

Ohio st would have been a much tougher matchup for y’all.

Their secondary is no joke.

I wanted Ohio State too but now we just need to focus on beating dumbass Dabo and his mouth that never stops babbling!! Joe should be pissed too that he didn't get his dream matchup against his old school!

Clemson says their run started when Les pissed away the 2012 Peach Bowl. Now LSU could end that run

Do you really think our team will not be laser focused to play the defending national champs who have not lost a game in over 2 years?

Get it together man.

This game showcases the 2 best QBs in the land. Watch and enjoy.

LOL, No. Their secondary looked pretty average against Clemson at times, and until someone actually slows us down more than Auburn, I'm not concerned about any defense out there.

Clemson is the better scenario. Clemson is currently the recruiting darling. Their class so far this year is fantastic. Beating them head to head, along with UGA and Bama earlier will pay the most recruiting dividends.

i just want to win it all. Give me an opponent that gives us the best chance to beat them. I don’t care about the rest.

Having witnessed that shite show performance led by Les Miles, I can't wait for LSU to beat Clemson.

Their entire secondary are going to the NFL....Okudah and Wade will be first rounders while Arnette and Fuller are projected 2nd and 3rd rounders.... That is hardly average. Lawrence was
18-033 last night. Osu held Clemson under 400 yds total for the night while themselves getting around 500 yds.

yeah i'm not sure what game that dude was watching, but Clemson's receivers had zero separation all night long; they were completely blanketed.

Clemson was extremely fortunate to win last night.

I don’t know about y’all, but I watched that game last night feeling that Ohio State was the better football team. I think this is a more favorable matchup for LSU.

Joe Burrow (Burreaux) is the consummate professional. As he has stated at the beginning and all of this year “it’s all about the ring and the National Championship”. My favorite quote of his “We will play whom ever on a gravel parking lot in Canada... It doesn’t matter”. What focus !!!!

I am glad we didn't get OSU. The 'Joe Burrow was a Buckeye' narrative would have gotten old fast. There would have been so many dumb questions about it from a bunch of dorky writers.

Should LSU win, it will be far more satisfying to watch Dabo's mental gymnastics.
