A Christian hopes and prays that the world doesn't fall apart

For the Bible and in extension their faith being true then the entire world has to reject Christianity before Jesus returns. IOW, Jesus wont return until the very last person that will convert does so.
God is not slack concerning his promises but wishes all to be saved.

American conservatism is the gayest ideology. We’d be much better off as a culture of people were a little weary of pissing off the Christians.

Sadly that's why they don't do Gay Mohammed. The level of disrespect toward a religion is inversely proportional to the level of violence in the response.
