The Two Popes (Anthony Hopkins, Jonathan Pryce) on Netflix today...another Oscar contender

Movie explores the friendship between Popes Benedict and Francis. Also, part of the movie is an origin story of Pope Francis.
A lot of it is 2 people talking, but it is a very engaging movie.
I think both Hopkins and Pryce are up for Golden Globes for this.

The Lutheran in me wants to reform this thread before it gets outta hand.
ETA: Jude Law is my Pope, the only real true Pope, and he's so young for a Pope.

I thought the guy who played young Francis did a pretty good job.

One of the best "slow burn" shows I've ever seen. It's tragic this won't continue.
Intelligent, thoughtful in what it was doing and just when you think you got the pope figured out. The next episode tells you you're wrong.
Really incredible show.

Will there be another season? If so, will it pick up where the last left off?
It seems I read somewhere that it'll be a different storyline with a different pope.

Excellent movie and study of the relationship between the 2 and the political behind the Pope.
