I’m guessing they’ll receive a reserve commission and a duty station commensurate with where they end up playing.

If you had bothered to actually read what was signed, perhaps you wouldn't have asked such a stupid fricking question.

But since you were either too lazy or too stupid to read, the answer is yes. They have to pay back the cost if they never go back and fulfill their commitment.
