The only argument here is that Lawrence has won a natty.

The Heisman award is for "Single Season" accomplishments, Last year doesn't count for anything.

What would Burrow's stats look like if Joe Brady was on staff last year?

First, quantify how much Joe Brady learned in his first year with the Saints vs his second year with the Saints. Then we can make an assumption on what his stats would have looked like.

Lawrence is only physically superior, and has a stronger arm. Burrow has him beat significantly in every other category. His pocket presence is unmatched. Dude is a NFL quarterback right now, from the mental and accuracy standpoint.

That being said, I have rarely seen a QB or even CFB player that current and former coaches and players just absolutely love and that was even before his success this year. He's a competitor and teammate that makes everyone else better and you can't teach that.

You are referring to Burrow here right? If Burrow has the same stats or let's be nice and say a little better than last year. Joe Burrow isn't even a fart in the wind in regards to elite QB's in college football nationally. He would be everything you said, but only to LSU coaches, teammates and maybe fans. Considering how pedestrian he was last year, he would be regarded about the same as Zack Mettenburger. And people rarely talk about him anymore.

It was funny to see Dan sulking in his chair when Desmond and Paul owned his arse. He looked like a little kid who had his ball taken away.

So now you're using the "if my aunt had balls" analogy?

What if Burrow didn't have to run a max protect, 2 WR offense last year? Do you think he would've had the same stats?

Do you really think that these guys are side by side? You really think physical size and a stronger arm are the only things he stands out on?

And you don't think Lawrence isn't?

Where is Lawrence sitting at the Heisman table this weekend in NYC? To Burrow’s right or left?

But he did. and that is reality. Reality is that he wasn't really all that good last year. WHICH IS WHY HIS RISE TO ULTIMATE POWER IN THE UNIVERSE THIS YEAR IS GETTING HIM SO MUCH ATTENTION. He has gotten so much better this year, compared to last. That is the work he's put in, and the system he is in now. I am not using any analogy. My point was he was middle of the road last year. And if he were the same this year, or even a tad bit better no one would be having this discussion. It would be hands down Lawrence.

What is the point of this question? Are you saying the heisman always goes to the best player in college football?

Peyton Manning and Charles Woodson say hello. And I say that knowing and believing Joe Burrow deserves the Heisman this year. But don't feed us the shite about why isn't Lawrence in NYC.

Lawrence looked pretty good on those as well.

Burrow is also 3 years older. Barring injury Lawrence will be the #1 pick in 2021. Both can be really good

You guys are glossing over a very pedestrian 2018 that Joe Burrow had.

Is it 2018 already?

2018 is completely irrelevant. The debate is whether TL is better than JB PRESENTLY, not in 2018.
