Damn, he said his sources at Arkansas said they had 6 people tell them no and they were desperate and the AD was told to get someone by end of the weekend.
Said this came out of nowhere inside the UGA world and everyone is scratching their head wondering how the F this guy is now a SEC coach. Said he was the last guy on that staff he would think would get that job.
Said its a hail mary and he'd be shocked if he lasted more than 3 years
I still dont see how this is a better hire than the UAB/ULL, or North Texas coach.

They have an FCS roster and no recruiting class. I am shocked they didnt have to pay 5 MM up to get someone, tbh

I think Arkansas is a good job. It can’t get worse

There are a ton of reasons why the Arkansas job wasn't appealing, getting rid of Chad in year 2 after getting BTFO by a G5 School at home was towards the bottom of that list.

I was told to shut the frick up and that I had no idea about the Pig search and yet here we are with Pig hiring a guy w/even less HC experience than CM who nobody thought was in line to be an HC.

Pittman was floated as a possibility weeks ago. He probably wasn’t a tier 1 candidate, but he wasn’t just an idea that popped into our AD’s head at the end of the search.

A lot IMO. No real money advantage over anyone anymore with the drastic increase in SEC revenue since 2014, so higher payouts for all. 2 schools within recruiting grounds join the SEC over the last decade. Oklahoma schools have been successful. Texas is decent again. Still little in-state SEC talent. A coach that seemed to have stopped recruiting, followed by a hire that resulted in the program hitting an all time low.
Aside from NWA being a really nice location, which most adults aren't even aware of, much less a teenager (if they even care) - there's little going for us.

That’s fine, I’m just talking about your everlasting support of Morris. Aggies like to defend each other to a fault (Not necessarily a bad thing) but even most of your fellow aggies realize he failed big time.
