Yeah, and we will press him for sure. Just think Reed is the safer bet, but definitely nothing is a done deal for anyone at this point. Let's see how the next week or two of recruiting shapes up.

Has the ship sailed with Xavion Alford? He's committed to Texas but it seems like he's the only commit they have held on to. He was really high on LSU but was rated a little below Greene and Toles.

He's already let us know he's gone.

I heard Collin D’Angelo (asst player personnel) speak at the TD club earlier this year.

O does not care so much about measurables. DAngelo addressed directly.

Just saying, don’t put it past them to take a look

Haven't heard that we are even talking to him anymore, so I highly doubt it.

Bingo. We have to keep in mind that recruiting is extremely fluid, up until a recruit actually signs his LOI. Anything can happen, either way. I’m confident we will be in a good position, either way.

Vol, how many more spots do you see opening up, including grey shirts

Are we still feeling good on Burch?

No. And Reed is the trending name at the moment. It could go a few different ways depending on how the numbers work out, but tentatively I'll say we push for Reed.

Makes a lot of sense, but I wonder if he's willing to stay in-state after it seems like he wanted to commit and we didn't prioritize him.

Bigger loss than people realize imo. Nickel/slot is our biggest weakness on D this year.

This kind of throws a kink in what I had originally thought, but I'll say 3 more at the moment. And Burch is still a toss up for me right now. If it was solely up to him it's all LSU, but family, friends, and local pressure want him close to home. We'll see.

Any chance we take Donovan Kaufman? Kid can play.

If not him Joel Williams would be my guess

Not saying that the staff is making bad decisions by processing kids. They obviously know what they are doing, and know who else wants in...But this is why it is tough to process guys who are 100% committed. You never know when another 17 year old kid in the class is gonna get cold feet or get swayed by another school.

Hope we are able to find a replacement, as well as add the guys we want.

shite, maybe my favorite recruit in this class.

Guy is a genius and a playmaker. Will be a huge asset on the field and in the locker room.

Still, gotta admit the last DB we took from Calvary turned out pretty good.

Things like kids decomitting makes me not hate it as much when we process kids to get better recruits.
