It appears they are looking for a safety/nickle hybrid type. They are looking for someone who can play man and zone in the slot as well as come up and fill gaps.

Yea sounds like it.

Crap like this is why I don’t like telling good players to look around when they’ve been committed since early on but I guess i get it

It’d be nice if commitment meant something on both sides but that’s not reality

With Ohio State losing Hafley they should at least kick the tires with the DBs they have on board.

Donovan Kaufman and it isn’t close. This man is a BALLER. If Greene flips he is a must get. Tyrann Mathieu, the man who people are comparing Kaufman too, only had 1 good offer, LSU.

Next best was FIU. Take him if he’s there.

Looks like Reed will have to say no before they take Kaufman.

Just my two cents

A little disconcerting that we have seen a few decommits and other recruits taking visits elsewhere in the days/weeks since that explosion of recruiting optimism. Now we are talking about backup plans?

Downvote away but this seems to be a pattern

We worry about the damn numbers and we usually don’t even end up with 25

I'm not sure why this is getting downvotes. The numbers always work themselves out. Look at last year when we ended up taking Desmond Little (no offense, Des).

Never had a TN offer. Mathieu left camp without an offer much to the surprise of everyone. You have Mathieu confused with Anthony Johnson. Had Frank Wilson not joined LSU's staff a few months later Jarvis Landry would have committed to the vols. He even stated as much.

Decamerion Richardson- out of Bossier High, 6-3/6-4 corner, just got back on official from Mississippi state and going to Tennessee on official this weekend. Elite speed, 2nd in the 200m, 3rd in 100m, and 2nd in high jump last year at the 4A state track meet. Under the radar guy, great kid, above 3.3 gpa if were in the market for a d-back
