went to a Christening of a USN ship once, was named after a friend's first cousin so I got to be in the VIP group, one of the most awesome and touching ceremonies I've ever witnessed

I always loved Aircraft carriers...

The champagne bottle didn't break on the first try, but she gave it a damn good solid whack the second time. Success.

3.5 acres of sovereign US territory. Love it

Are there not enough things named after JFK?

HII is commissioning 2 at the beginning of 2020 in Pascagoula. An NSC and a DDG. I'm going to make it a point to make it to one of them.
