As bowhunters we always argue which is better a mechanical or fixed blade broadhead. Well US forces used a Hellfire missile to take out a terrorist in Syria. The Hellfire has 6 folding blades instead of a warhead. Fire that at an whitetail deer. Shoot and process at the same time.

Can’t it cut out the back straps?

Thing looks like a beast.

That thing is badarse, but seems like it has an unnecessarily damage area. Why not have something with an explosive the size of say a hand grenade or something of that size? While not likely, someone in that vehicle could have survived.

How many lbs would I need to be pulling to shoot that thing?

Yea it certainly looks like they could. Seems like getting smacked by a 500 pound field point would be pretty effective in itself

What blows my mind is how they put that thing right in ol boys lap. The accuracy they get from modern toys is spectacular.

My Air Force buddy was saying they've been dropping practice bombs filled with concrete with the same idea, but obviously you don't do that with a missile. I'm curious if maybe just the force of this thing hitting close to you and the speed would likely kill you? Does it have a "shockwave" so to say? I don't know I've never heard of that before?

I understand not having a major explosion, but I don't see the need to leave room for error and just have death by impact.

I'm sure all the shrapnel would kill you.

I agree, a normal sized kaboom would be good insurance
