If I'm Kiffin there is no way I'm leaving Boca for Arky.

Why would an up and comer want to torpedo his career with Ole Miss, Miss St or Arkansas?

Yes, they should just hold out for the Bama job.

It wasn't him cheating. It was a bunch of rape going on and him allowing it and covering it up. We couldn't/wouldn't get any coaches or recruits worth a damn and frankly I would rather lose games than sink that low to hire him

He looked horrible in his start vs LSU.

I agree but he was dealing with a shoulder injury and had a brace on it. Plus I wouldn't expect any freshman to look good making their first start against the #1 team on the road.

No QB ever looked good under Morris. After they transferred, Cole Kelley and Ty Storey have combined for 31 TDs and 7 INTs this year at WKU and SELA. Not SEC competition but still.

It has been suggested that kiff would have Sanders on his staff....

Hmmmm, Sanders was trying to get Kiff hired at FSU FWIW!

He was actually mentioned at Florida State as a candidate for a brief time. Nobody took it seriously

Our next coach will need a couple of years to rebuild, but 8-10 years is a ridiculous time frame for that. McElroy was still the QB for Alabama 8 years ago.

Arkansas has more problems than some realize, but we're not THAT bad off. These guys are smoking something strong if they believe that.

Because of his past and in some ways his personality Lane will have to eat some sh!t to get a P5 gig.

But pig sh!t?

Boca seems good to me.

Sky must be falling

You and I agree on something.

I liked McElroy as a player, but listening to him on XM and listening to him on games just fricking annoys me. Seems like a try hard to me that ends up sounding stupid.

Kannel can jump off a damn cliff for all I care.

They ended with, if I’m Kiffin I would want some strong, very strong contract language that Arkansas is going to give me a LOOOONNNGGG LEASH because the program is so bad that it will take years and years to rebuild to respectability. Aka guaranteed 8-10 year full salary ala Jimbo at ATM

Anybody taking that job would be an idiot to take that job without requiring such a strong contract after what happened to Chad Morris.

McElroy also said chad Morris needed More time.

Although I can't stand that Alabama homer, McElroy, I agree with him on at least that point. Morris was shafted big time by Arkansas.

What? Kiffin would love to get a chance to go at him each year.

Saban's days are numbered. The foundation is cracking. He won't be there much longer.

Anyone who thinks this didn't really understand the situation.

4 wins in two years

4-4 against G5 teams

Got destroyed by Western Kentucky in your 22nd game with the program (with a QB that Chad couldn't do anything with and brought in two QBs to take his place)

Team actually got worse as time went on in the season and his tenure

The roster and situation Bert left behind was bad but not that bad.

You mean after what Chad Morris did.

Can’t understand why people think Morris would have done any better next year with a tougher schedule and a recruiting class that was falling apart. He was losing so much that his recruiting class was almost to #50 before he was fired. That’s just not going to work out, sorry.
