Not a chance I would do this , these athletic departments are getting raped by these guys and their agents. It’s just ridiculous to keep dishing out money like this.

What makes them homers?

Because they think 4 wins in two years against a very easy non-conference schedule is unacceptable?

Cause they don't realize how horrible their program is cause they ran off their last coach without giving him a chance. Now no one is going to take that job without certain guarantees to ensure their job security. Not to mention that it will also cost them much more money than otherwise to get the job done and in which is still a pretty big if.

Didn't give him a chance? He had two years to show something and looked his worst towards the end of season 2. I could see your point if he showed progress but never did.

Did you see that Western Kentucky score? The QB that wasn't good enough for Morris, took him to the woodshed.

It just seems like you are really not aware of the whole situation.

He had a chance. He had a chance to get better than the first year. He didn’t do that and he arguably actually got worse. He probably would have gone 2-10 again next year. He is tied for the 4th worst winning percentage in SEC history.

Just not sure what else you want to see.

This.

It was almost like Morris was trying to get fired.

An undersized O-line

Hiring a guy as an offensive coordinator and allowing him to call plays that had been a GA 4 years prior.

Divided the locker room.

Brought in 2 QB transfers....2....that were not better than the QB he run off.

Stupid trick plays that never worked.

And the list goes on and on.

If he hangs around Boca another 2 years, Kiffin and the U could make a lot of sense when Manny flames out.

Why would an up and comer want to torpedo his career with Ole Miss, Miss St or Arkansas?

Those jobs are good for career coordinators who want to be a HC or a retread who is trying to establish himself as a good P5 HC.

Oddly enough, Ole Miss has hired all three. Tubberville the up and comer, Cutcliffe/Luke the career assistants, and Nutt the retread.

Freeze was like the perfect coach for them. An up and comer who actually viewed Ole Miss as a destination job.

I have no problem with Kiff, Leach, or Norvell... although I believe Norvell to be out of it for us.

Anyone else, I will need some talking into...

Actually, he had less than two years and there is not a single man alive on this planet than can build a program from as bad as that program was when he first took over the program to greatness again in less than two years. You need to put down the crack pipe, you buffoon.

Okay, you genius, list all of the head coaches currently coaching today that rebuilt programs from piss poor to great in only a year and a half?

I'll hang up and listen but I won't hold my breath cause I don't want to die.

Bret was average as hell. Not down right terrible enough to excuse the shite morris had going on.

We for most of bret's tenure recruited the same as we always do and chad came in and started losing to bad G5 teams. The fact you think we should have kept him is enough proof he needed to go.

Dude, you are not even trying to comprehend.

I would usually absolutely agree with you, but he gave us no choice.

He split the team and lost the locker room. They were glad to see him leave. Not because he was a disciplinarian, but because he wasn't a fair one. He had "his" guys and the others who many had more talent weren't played.

His coaching was Horrific. His handling of the pressers was horrific, his slogans were horrific. He was a horrific coach. Sonny DYkes had to work the transfer portal to replace what limited talent Chard left at SMU and he has won there. Every place Chard left got better the year following.

We had the talent to win against three of our losses and yet????

The stadium was 1/3 full by the end of his tenure and season tix holders were leaving by the droves. He had to go. I had contact from the razorback foundation and gave my intent to be done with Razorback football unless changes were made soon. As did most contributors.

His recruiting class was de-committing already. HE WAS DONE!
