WTF Kemp, fricking disloyal coward
ETA: ?
@mattgaetz
Gov. Kemp, do you have any idea how absurd it is to tweet that your big push-back against the “establishment” is a donor who gave $700k plus to Mitt Romney and nothing to Trump until she wanted in the Senate?
What’s next? Appointing Michael Vick to an animal welfare task force?

Wow...Kemp is a POS

Georgia elected its governor. Governors appoint senators. Elections have consequences.
Trump is an authoritarian who wants to control local decisions from DC. This should not surprise anyone.

One-term Governor if he appoints this Democrat masquerading as a Republican.

Trump wanted Louisiana to help with the governor race too. I do not know the inner workings or why the governor of Georgia does not want Collins as his choice. But saying the governor should cow-tail to the president is not right either.
It will be interesting to see Collins in the up coming judiciary hearings. This could sway some opinions.

Did Georgia elect this individual as its governor? Yes or no.
Does Georgia law provide for its governor to appoint a Senator to fill an unexpired term? Yes or no.
Does Georgia law require Presidential approval of senatorial appointments? Yes or no.
Is it authoritarian (anti States rights) for a federal official to interfere in matters which the Constitution reserves to the States? Yes or no.
I anticipate a great deal of equivocation on that last question — equivocation which would NOT be present if a Dem POTUS were to do exactly the same thing.

Your post is correct, but that's not a thing. The word is "kowtow".

The governor of Ga is only governor of Ga bc the President persuaded the POTUS’s supporters to elect Kemp (who as I recall was quite milquetoast anyway) by arguing that Kemp would be most likely to Make Georgia Great Again.
Therefor, I’m assuming the people who voted for Kemp especially those who did so bc they were scared of having a fat, bankrupt socialist, with no babies who likes abortions, try to tell them how to be healthy and spend their money, will not be overly excited to have some RINO who basically agrees with nothing they hold dear placed in a Senatorial position - especially with Roe v Wade fixin to be reviewed by the SCOTUS and RBG fixin to croak.
But I am just spitballing here.
All that said- my state elected JBE - so I probably have no room to talk. Cassidy and Kennedy better not kick the bucket for the next 4 years. Cassidy is weird AF but I’d rather him be the senator than whatever moron JBE owes a favor.

Trump is one person that happens to be president with an opinion. There is nothing authoritarian about that. Now if he enforced that opinion outside of the bounds of law then I would agree that he would be authoritarian. There was nothing authoritarian with Obama implementing his beliefs within in the bound of the law and there is nothing authoritarian about Trump enforcing or influencing his opinion within the bounds of the law either.
How is Trump being authoritarian again?

You do know that 92% of Trump voters in 2016 voted for Mitt Romney in 2012? Voting for and supporting Romney in 2012 is no indicator of disloyalty to Donald Trump.
