Texas woman attacked and killed by feral hogs in her front yard

Christine Rollins, a 59-year old caregiver to an elderly couple in Anahuac, failed to show up at her normal time on Sunday, the sheriff's office said. The 84-year-old homeowner found her lying in the front yard between her car and the house.
Sheriff Brian Hawthorne said in a news conference Monday that "multiple hogs" assaulted Rollins when she arrived at work, likely between 6 and 6:30 a.m., when it was still dark outside.

Look, I’m not going to pretend I’ve given that policy a lot of serious thought, but this is about as good a reason you can get for hopping on a chopper and taking a machine gun to wild hogs.

I live off of this highway. Happened a couple miles down the road. Pretty crazy stuff. Neighbor seems to think it was a pack of dogs but the sherif thinks the dogs ran the hogs off.

Piglets and shoats have very little gameyness almost indistinguishable from domestic pig. Even mature sows are pretty close. It's the boars that have a really strong "WTF" is this flavor to them.

I think the wild hogs taste better than domestic if killed November,December,January,February.They’ve been eating acorns,pecans and deer corn.Some people eat them in the summer but I don’t,they’ve been eating worms,grubs,dead shite,anything they can find.
I’ve eaten several boars that were very good also.Before I skin a boar I’ll cut out a little meat and fry it in a skillet.You’ll find out quick if they’re too rank to eat.
