I do agree it probably won't be as great as it's being made out to be.. they have made some questionable decisions IMO. First person view on cutscenes? Tacked on MP? These are worrying. For all my DOOM Eternal bros, let's just hope Bethesda don't find a way to frick up this franchise too.

I’m pretty sure they said they wouldn’t start working on multiplayer till after the game came out. So they can have time to focus on it specifically. It won’t take anything out of the single player game.

No one has. It's a new title from CDPR, the same company that made the Witcher games.
I think probably the closest would be a mix of GTA and Deus Ex, but even that doesn't really do it justice.
There's about 45 minutes of actual gameplay on the youtubes.

There's pretty much 0 chance Cyberpunk will be a "bad" game.
It may end up just pretty good game people are still disappointed with based on crazy high expectations though.
My bigger fear for it is technical issues. It's supposedly a massive game they've been working like slaves on for years. I'd say the game being a buggy, glitchy mess at launch is a bigger danger than the game actually being bad
