What percent of your taxes do you think go to funding food stamps? Why aren't you more upset about the Military Industrial Complex?

Interesting article (with sources) about SNAP

It does suck that so much junk food is EBT approved, though

Because it is theft and purchase of votes used to usurp the power to expand theft.

Cut ALL federal programs by 20%, across the board, all departments. All of them, including the military. There are WAY too many people sucking at the teet of government, including the bureaucrats in the military.

They don’t care. They put the shite on the counter and if the clerk rings it up their good. I’m not sure if the card knows what it can pay far

There's definitely a need to trim fat, but there are a lot of valuable research done by some government organizations

I do this, and I also look at people's receipts at restaurants to confirm my suspicions that they didn't tip. I'll even walk over to a table and open up the little credit card book to look.

You should be happy then, food stamp costs and participation numbers have dropped dramatically since 2011

Not sure what that link is about & decided not to open it, but there was an economic crisis increasing welfare usage temporarily before this improvement started. Does it account for this?

Who do you think is the REAL winner from the SNAP program?

Hint: It isn't the poor person.
