Best game we’ve played thus far?

Curious to hear the Rant’s thoughts on LSU’s best game this year? Try to avoid answering with your favorite game, but rather the one that we looked the most like a Championship team.
My suggestion is actually the Utah State game. Defense looked like an immovable force, and had a potential 1st round pick (Jordan Love) looking silly with 3 interceptions. Offense had their way, and quietly put up 600 yards of offense while maintaining possession for 41 of the 60 minutes.
I may be bias towards the defense’s best performance, but I remember that game as a complete team performance. Other thoughts?

Out of all the away games, which do you think was best?

I can’t judge a championship team on a performance against sub-par competition.
I’ll bc go Florida. There was never a doubt that lsu would win that game.

Bama, hands down.
We stepped on their throat early, took the counter punch, and finished them off.
As it's been said many times. Aside from their first possession, they never had a chance to take the lead in their own house.

I would say it’s Bama. I just think if we are playing our best in that game we win by 21+

Hard to argue with that, I guess my thought was the big plays made it not our “best game”. But I like your logic on why it was our best.

The Alabama game was the one people wanted to 'finally' judge this team on. LSU came out of the gate smokin'.
It was a totally different feel from games recently. The team on both sides of the ball were locked in.

The first half of the Bama game was electric.
The offense was gashing them in the running and passing game. We were manhandling them at the point of attack. They were running around confused. Everything was working.
Our defense was flying around. We had push up front and everyone on the back end was locked in.

GA Southern was a good performance on both sides of ball. Plus, it was eye-opening of things to come. Offense was rolling that night.

Being that we haven’t beaten Alabama in 8 years, the significance of the win, and us beating them at their home field, I’d say Bama.

Second this. Crap opponent but perfection on both sides of the ball.

Utah State was perfection against an avg opponent. Tea shredded us in the 2nd half especially

Georgia Southern. I know they're Sun Belt but they're really a good team and were within a late miraculous drive from upsetting MINNESOTA on the road!
LSU was its best that night: the Eagles had less than 100 yards offense! I believed this year's defense was the real deal; they played fast and furious the whole night.

Look at all of our first halves. We have dominated people with the exception of Florida.
Our total best game was probably A1abama

Given the context and flow of the game, I might suggest for consideration, the Texas game.

That really wasn't much of a game, and it was only 7-6 Tigers deep into the 2nd quarter!
I believe Utah State was adversely affected by the extreme heat more than the Tigers. That was one game I felt so relieved when it was over.
