We are discussing stats.

Your post doesn’t address my point or those stats.

And how did he look the last time he played?

He wasn’t good, which is why he’s gone a year without playing.

Guess we’ll have to wait to find out.

The goal is to do more than Anthony Tolliver was doing.

The defense will be trash regardless.

And how is he doing in that regard?

If Tolliver was worse than this, I’d love to see those numbers.

Carmelo Anthony was 4/14 (29%) for 10 points, and had more turnovers (5) than assists and rebounds combined (4)

He’s old and washed.

Pretty much.

Someone will probably say “He’s just rusty” but he was playing this bad or worse with Houston last season before being cut.

It was great to see melo have a big game last night. Hopefully he can keep it rolling.

Agreed B. Some people like to laugh at other’s failures and hope they continue to fail. I don’t get it. I’ve been rooting for Melo’s comeback prior to coming to Portland. He’s worked very hard and it shows with his attitude and his body language. I’m cheering for the guy even if he wasn’t a Blazer... unless he played for LAL, cuz frick the Lakers.

Can we get an update? Is Melo even in the league still? Surely he’s washed.

He is averaging 14.6 per game on 41.2% shooting, with 36% from 3 I think I saw.

His advance stats tend to prove that

He dropped 32 last night and hit the dagger to put the game away.

Against the 19-40 Pistons. Not putting too much stock into that.

Which is dog shite. Even more dog shite when you consider he is only shooting 4 3s a game. So it is not like a high 3 rate is bringing his FG % down. He is just inefficient.

I mean he has an offensive rating of 112.1 and a defensive rating or 112.1 . 355th in true shooting % at 51.1.

That is pretty damn bad.
