The party is complete shite. Stop telling people to vote against something and give them something to vote for.

The GOP just doesn't want to admit that their slimeball candidate is why Abraham voters would not support Rispone.
This isn't the fault of Abraham voters, it is the fault of everyone who voted Rispone in the primary.

Most of the politicians in Louisiana are democrats that stick an “R” behind their name in order to get elected there. That’s what you get when your voter base is apathetic.

The problem is 90% to 10%. Until the electorate demands action, it will be the same result for any GOP candidate.

Agreed. We need a Tea Party movement. Hard working men and women. The current LA GOP is incapable, inefficient, and as corrupt as the democrats. Let’s burn it down. Modern day GOP might as well be King George.

The LA GOP won nearly every race they contested. Every statewide official outside of Governor is republican. They won supermajorities in the statehouse including getting rid of a few RINOs in the process like Ryan Gatti.
And they didn't choose Rispone. Voters chose Rispone after he burned down enough of Abraham's support to get past him.
It's not the LA GOP's fault that Rispone ran a shitty campaign and blew a very winnable race. In fact, they were trying to give him as much assistance as possible including giving them a brand new GOTV data model for free and Rispone's people said no thanks.
The only one to blame for Eddie Rispone losing is Eddie Rispone. He hired a shitty staff that lost the race for him.

Lane grisby put up that rookie of the year rispone and they lost. Lazy and simpleton campaign by rookie dummies. As a lifetime republican it sickens me. When was the last time a republican ran on fiscal responsibility and on small government ? Louisiana has over $11 billion dollars of unfunded government retirements. It’s a road to disaster. What about NEEDED infrastructure like a Baton Rouge loop ?

Abraham did not commit the cardinal sin of pissing off voters you will need later.
There's a reason why Abraham never went negative against Rispone even when he was constantly being attacked by him.
That was a lesson Rispone learned a little over a month later.
