Mostly just the progressive right who have deluded themselves into believing they are conservatives, it is an odd phenomenon that is more prevalent in the TD cohort than anywhere else I have ever seen

Correct.

Conservatives wear their nostalgiac “Reagan/Bush ‘84” Tshirts and speak of him in reverential tones- but in fact he would be laughed out of today’s Republican Party for being far too moderate... they would turn on him similarly to how they turned on McCain, Ryan, etc etc
