Garrett is really lucky he made contact with the only part of the helmet that has any give. Had he split Rudolph's wig he'd be in deep, deep shite.

Garret lost his cool and mind for a minute, did an awful thing, but let’s not think that it’s his character... suspend him 4 games, fine him, and move on.

Actions show someone's character.

What was the need with 8 seconds left in a 14 point game? They could have just waved the last 8 seconds off.

Exactly right, action(s), this is out of character for Garret. If this was Burfict, he would definitely be gone.

Exactly wrong. He committed the action, therefore it shows his true character.

Garrett was labeled by many as dirty before this game. He just got more rope because he was "nice" off the field.

That's all out the window now.

So, one instance and that’s who you are? I don’t know what world you live in, but that’s a rough one. Hopefully my character isn’t judged on one mistake that I make.

He honestly should be banned for life from football. He said he was sorry, but didn't seem really sorry at all. This league is not really concerned for the safety of QBs unless he is expelled.

"Oops, I fricked up" doesn't wash five minutes after the offense. Yeah, I shot the guy, but that's not me. C'mon, man.

We are looking at this two different ways, I’ll agree to disagree.

He's had some issues before though.

Myles Garrett says he "choked out" LSU player
quote:

"Against LSU my last year, I choked out their tight end two times in a row," Garrett said. "[Laughs] He had it coming. He just kept holding me, so I picked him up, put him on his back and then I grabbed his face mask and kept jamming his helmet into the ground. I said, "I'm setting you straight right now. Don't do illegal holds."

It's worth noting the frustration might have come from the results on the field. The Aggies lost the game, and Garrett never beat LSU during his three seasons in Baton Rouge. During those three meetings, Garrett combined for just five tackles and one sack.

LINKED video (starts where Garrett's frustration led to a penalty against A&M)

Myles Garrett fined $42,112 for two roughing penalties
quote:

The NFL fined the Browns defensive end $21,056 for each of his two roughing the passer penalties on Monday night. That’s a $42,112 chuck from his weekly paycheck of $189,985.

Garrett lost $10,527 last week for hitting Titans tight end Delanie Walker in the facemask with an open hand.

Garrett has already been fined 3 times this year. I don’t think you are aware of his reputation and history of late hits and cheap shots.

Leonard Little killed someone and he was only suspended 8 games. I’m thinking Garret will be back next year.

Garrett should be suspended for the rest of the year.

Pouncey was just responding to the beatdown of his QB. He might be suspended for a game or two.

Looking back at the video, Rudolph was twisting on his helmet trying to drag it off. He should be suspended as well.

which is pretty much where im at. coming into tonight, the worst thing you could say about myles is that hes taken some late hits in the past. there is no excuse for how he acted tonight and its something he will carry with him for the rest of his career. but he will get suspended for the rest of the year, may carry over into next year, and then we will move on. id be shocked if he gets burfict'd and is cut and is out of the league

He's had a history dating back to Tamu acting like a punk bitch. Same with Mike Evans.

Both are piece of shite thugs.
