Juan Marichal hit Johnny Rosenboro over the head with a bat in an MLB game in 1965.

Because for you to have this take it’s clear you are bringing race as your motivating factor, per the usual

Garret road him to the ground late and stayed on top of them. Then Rudolph wrestled to get up and they gave each other the business. That’s normal nfl shite

Then Garret went insane

Did the NFL even put Rudolph in the blue tent?

Turned the game off before this happened, but I’ve never seen anything like that in football. Damn near broke his neck ripping his helmet off, then tries to crack his skull like it’s a weapon.

Garrett is too big of a pussy to fight an o-lineman, but instead takes it out on the backup QB. Record fines and suspension needed.

How about an entire season of the next 16 regular season games? Personally, I would have no problem on a lifetime ban for that trash.

Mason WAS trying to take Myles' helmet off first.
From the replay.

By having the gall to "play quarterback on the other team" is the only way Rudolph started anything.

If he "started" it by reacting negatively to a dirty play, I agree.

Putting any of this on Rudolph is comical. The guy got hit in the head with a helmet swung by a fricking monster and did not retaliate. Most guys would have been in that pile tryin to rip his face off.

Rudolph did nothing wrong that you can see. Maybe he told Myles that his momma pussy stank or something earlier, but there is no evidence of that.

Objectively - the Malice at the Palace is the #1 sports fight of all time. Resulted in multiple full year, half year and multiple game suspensions.

Using a helmet as a weapon certainly puts this one in the top 5, but it will be tough to do better than players fighting fans in the stands, on the court, and Jamal Tinsley even started swinging a janitorial dust pan at fans. Larry Brown was like your grandfather screaming over the PA pleading for people to stop. The refs just GTFO before the game was over.

It is really only behind the Saints winning the super bowl and the Pels getting AD in top sports moments for me. I happened to be watching it.

The Haynesworth incident is up there. Cleated a dude in the face without a helmet while the guy was defenseless on the ground

Mason Rudolph is a Republican and Trump supporter. How much y’all wanna bet the media will mention that fact and try and spin it to justify Garret’s assault?

How old are you? Do you not remember the Malice in the Palace? That was 100x worse than this.

So basically you can't think of anything but race (better yet hatred) and have to force it into everything even on-field squabbles?

That's your problem man.

I mean you're so pathetic you are trying to normalize the scuffle.

It isn't normal to try and grab another guy's helmet just because they hit you hard and drove you down. Just like it isn't normal to beat a man with his own helmet.

All you're doing is projecting because at the end of the day all parties are wrong and Garrett should be punished most severly but to make it seem like Randolph is some victim and not the instigator is asinine.

I’ve finally seen what happened.

1. Rudolph started it.

2. Myles Garret needs a suspension that leads into next season. Give him 8 games.

ETA: Started it as in he was the first one to initiate a fight. Not saying he shouldn’t have done it.
