Predict Tom Herman’s future

Looking like 2020 is setting up to be a critical season for TH in Year4. If Texas parts way after 2020, where do they go next?

Lol... He finished 3rd in recruiting last year and his current class is #6. He ain't going anywhere.

All I know is when a program is stuck in a coaching carousel and only giving coaches 3 years to succeed, they’ll never get off that merry-go-round

Naw. injuries knocked his 10-2 team down to 8-4 this year. Hes safe and will contend for the big 12 next year

10 wins should be a minimum at Texas. No way they should struggle in the B12. Oklahoma? I get it, but they should run through the rest.

He may or may not be going anywhere, but his seat is absolutely warm for Year4 in 2020, maybe even hot depending on how the rest of this year plays out.
Orlando will get the axe this year, with some other staff reshuffling, but the heat is on next year for sure.

If he has a season like this again next year then his seat will be hot in 2021. I don’t see them getting rid of him after 3 years but maybe 4. Texas will never be the Texas of early 2000’s.

Herman will need to make staff changes this offseason. Way too much dead weight and BBQ buddies who don't really produce. He recruits well. Texas is recruiting well, no reason not to produce with some of those recruiting classes.

He will never go 10-2 at Texas. He will become head coach at a lower P5 team for $3 million starting in 2022.

Next season (2020) is his 4th season at Texas.
His first season at Texas was 2017.

3 Years under Charlie Strong: 16-21 (12-15)
3 Years under Tom Herman: 23-13 (16-8)
Injuries have really hurt them this year but I think these last 3 games determine just how hot his seat is next year.
