This is such a bunch of nonsense. I’ve seen like 5 different timeframes for these generations. This is just dumb shite that people make up. It means literally nothing.

Baby Boomer, Gen X, and Gen Z seem to be pretty set in stone as far as when they begin and end. However, no one seems to have a set beginning for the Millennial generation. I've seen graphs where the generation starts in 1980, 1983, and 1985. I've also seen one or two where the generation starts in 1979. It's freaking insane how no one born in the 80s wants to be associated with Millennials.

Millennial, as most people use it, isn't an age as much a state of mind and act.

Also, Gen Y, which was 1980-1990 are getting screwed. These kids spanned the age where having a computer and internet access wasn't a given. Knowing how to navigate a word processor was for nerds.

And, 44-64 boomers gave birth to boomers? What a stupid idea.

Exactly. No one born in the 80's for sure, and i'll even say the 90's is a "Millennial". That graphic is horseshite.

Like the guy said above, "Millennial" is more of a state of mind than an age.

I like how the Gen X is wearing a suit and Millennial has a beard and styled hair.

The first response should’ve been

quote:

Ok boomer

You’ve failed OT.

Because they can along during the digital boom, I've always felt the range for millennial is too large even though it's similar to the other generations

Someone born in 1980 is just a lot different than someone born in 1994 because the person born in 1994 really can't even remember not having the internet.

You’re right, it’s become a catch all term for anyone under 35ish that acts a certain way. I’ve heard people bitch about current HS and College kids and call them millennials.

A sad commentary on a culture is one that defines its children by the year they were born.

The great cultures define their children by religion they were born into.
