Snap a long losing streak to stake a strong claim to #1 and the inside path to both a Heisman and a Natty.

A week later you re-elect a turdhead Democratic governor hell-bent on turning you into the South’s version of Detroit. Mississippi has a realistic shot at no longer being the “Thank God for...” state.

What the frick are you people doing down there? How do you have so many dumbasses in one state?

I'm here and I totally agree. This is becoming a shithole state. BR is a shithole and elects complete fricking morons annually, N.O. is a bigger shithole, and elect even dumber morons (last one was still pending charges on credit card fraud, when elected)

It's a joke...and trial lawyers rejoice...let that sink in

There are lots of “conservative” hardcore Catholics here who swear that just because JBE is anti abortion they must therefore overlook the ACTUAL conservative candidates who are also against abortion and vote for JBE because he’s anti abortion.

It’s just as stupid as it sounds when I type it out.

1. The election hasn't happened yet.
2. JBE is an incumbent and Louisiana's Constitution gives the governor a shite ton of unilateral power. That makes incumbents VERY powerful for ensuring loyalty at the local level and preventing defections by connected people.
3. Louisiana is the reddest state in the United States and always has been. And by red, I mean Communist. We were the first state to adopt widespread communist policies for all. As a result, the New Deal was based heavily on what Huey Long was doing here. Huey's influence has only grown stronger over time through governor's like Edwin Edwards.
4. There have only been 2 multi-term republican governors since...ever?
5. We have the largest percentage of population not in the labor force compared to every other state. Our state government also employs the largest percentage of the population compared with any other state. Thus, the governor for the party of growing state government and expanding entitlements basically has nearly 50% of the vote already baked in.
6. MASSIVE institutional voter fraud through the taxpayer-funded Counsel on Aging which basically prefills ballots and forges signatures for absentee ballots of retirees, vegetables in nursing homes, and the recently deceased.

I see people threaten to leave all the time, but I'm honestly thinking of moving if JBE wins. This is such a a transformative election and people want to reelect the guy who has done absolutely nothing to help the economy and keep people in the state. I think the long term effects are going to be the final nail in the coffin.

Firstly, Jobs are scarce. The jobs that are available aren’t high paying.

Secondly, Generational welfare is alive and rampant in Louisiana. These people make more $ doing nothing, and this mindset is being passed down.

Lastly, Old Louisiana money is leaving the state (has been for years) therefore the scale is now very unbalanced. People know handouts will continue under Liberal control and are perfectly fine with it. It’s normal and sad!

Bruh, focus on keeping Tejas red. If it flips the republic is doomed.

And people wonder why Rispone's "nuke the current system" approach has gained so much traction. It doesn't matter if you don't have a specific plan. Just stop the prevailing bullshite in its tracks. Not unlike NOV2016. You have to stop the bleeding first.
