US Army 1988 - 1996
Dropped out of college in 1999 to serve in Desert Shield/ Desert Storm. Ran a burn unit in a field hospital. I was 20 years old!

He's not a veteran yet, but my youngest son was sworn in (ARMY) two weeks ago, and headed to Ft. Leonard Wood for BASIC after he graduates this spring. Might not be the thread to have mentioned it, but I'm proud of him!

It absolutely is the thread. Good job, Dad. The service of our kids is a source of pride, and also a bit of worry (even at the early stage).
