By wearing it he is reminding us he swore the oath to defend constitution from trump.
I have no idea whether admiral whatshisname during nixon or lt col oliver north wore theirs to work at wh.
You support the same cocksucker who was downtalking the country in front of his fellow soldiers and Russians.
He is an anti-American piece of shite as are you so it fits I guess

I hate it when either side does this. Being in the military doesn't automatically make a person truthful or virtuous.

I wonder what he will wear to his hanging?

I guess that's one way to spin it. The President has constitutional powers with regards to dealing with foreign countries. This chucklefrick tried to undercut the President's constitutional powers.

what would you like him to wear?

Please...while I think Vindman is a rat, he's an Army Officer, he isnt going wear ACU's to a Congressional Hearing.
I'm sure you're right, but like I said in my next post it's unfortunate that the media called attention to it the way they did and exploited it.
But I do see what I described quite often, but again I would be happy to go back and question whether this is that.

It is sad it was an option for him to do so but alas as he is active duty it was the proper attire.

A freaking show. And that confirms it. POS is taking advantage of the uniform. I served and would have only put on my uniform again if I got recalled. Or if I got married and bride wanted me to wear it. I put it in professional cleaning and preservation. And it still is 52 years later.
OK boomer

This whole charade is nothing more than a Hollywood production so of course he’d be wearing his costume.

From what I have been able to determine, he is an Army officer on active duty. Wearing his uniform is proper.

There’s nothing “honorable” about wearing clothes. There’s nothing wrong with it in this context, but calling it honorable is strange.
And Col Lardass has already shredded his oath; there’s definitely not anything honorable about him.

This.
I am not sure what else people are expecting him to wear.
Thats not to be confused with the idea that I believe one word he says however.

Should be in front of a 7-man firing squad. Each man with an M14 loaded with black tips and instructions to keep shooting until the mag is dry.

It is routine.
What is not routine is overt political activism while in uniform.

These big government right wing progressive don't like truth and have zero integrity, their entire world is governed by whataboutism, how else would you expect them to feel.
There is no right or wrong for them and they excuse the worst of human behavior because someone else did something and that makes it OK.
Dissension is not allowed, I am often reminded of a Emerson quote when reading post here “Let me never fall into the vulgar mistake of dreaming that I am persecuted whenever I am contradicted.”
In their world a serving US military officer should not wear his uniform when appearing before the US Congress because they don't like what he said, it is laughable and I wear their down votes as a badge of honor.

It's completely legit to evaluate the underlying motivations of a thread/OP like you've done here. But in this case it looks like you may have missed the mark. In my view it's not a matter of "how dare he wear that uniform while saying things I don't like."
Rather, it seems clear to me that the issue is the media's gratuitous assignment of credibility to Vindman merely by virtue of him being a military man in uniform. Or at least attempting to convince the public of that. Yes, some comments drift into pure affront, but the primary qualm is the automatic assignment of credibility in a situation wherein credibility of all players is center stage.

The Resistance is trying to make their latest effort to undo 2016 seem all serious and stuff, but it's mildly hilarious that the agency's *ethics* lawyer was the upset deep stater's twin bro.
“After consulting with an ethics lawyer — his twin brother, a National Security Council attorney who worked across the hall from him — Vindman took his concern up the chain of command.”
Who was Yevgeny Vindman’s client: (1) the United States; or (2) his twin brother Alexander?
