Move them to Louisville.

Indy, Bengals, Titans, and Chargers in the Ohio River Conference

The impact that a team in London would have on a player and his immediate family cannot be overstated.

Also, what about the "front office"? Would scouts and other support personnel want to move to the UK? What laws govern their continued US citizenship? Would keeping a remote office in the US make sense?

It’s would be treated just like any front office for sports that have teams in Canada

They would be on work Visas

You ever worked for a company that has offices in other countries?

So what you're saying is their closest road trip would still be longer than any team's potential longest road trip?

No. What I’m saying is handwringing over an extra 30 is dumb.

Nobody says a word when Cards, raiders, chargers, Seahawks, and rams travel to the east coast.

They did frick up. But no new stadium equals a move.

There are plenty of east coast teams to make a division.

Do you ever need a raise?

You seem to be getting by just fine on your current salary.

Correct. NFL purchased the Falcons’ old facilities. They’ve been quietly renovating them and would base the team out of Atlanta. They’d only play games in London, with almost all employees being in the US.

Kind of makes sense to have a US base of operations, but try and get Free Agents on that team.

They would have zero "Home Games" unless they play the Falcons. Just traveling 16 weeks a year, including 8 games on another continent.

And you’d do a block schedule so it’s 4 home 4 away 4 home 4 away.

The main schedule issue would be playoffs. If there’s were say a 3 seed they could have home, away, home to get to the Super Bowl. If the away game is on the west coast that’s a lot of flying.

Go look up the interview done by Kyle Lowry about his time with the Raptors. Those complaints are some of the ones he made.

Stupid, I know, but these are spoiled pro athletes used to getting what they want and they don’t like unfamiliarity.

To what extent does the NFL need a raise? So lets say the NFL lets a move to London happen and financially, its a smashing success. Remember, if we are talking ROI, travel time doesn't matter and at the end of the day more money, then what's to prevent lets say the owner of the Buffalo Bills (they can opt out of lease after 2020 season), who play in a shitty arse stadium in a small market from moving his team to Paris? Then the Jaguars (Lease until 2030), who play in a shitty arse stadium in small market to Dublin? Boom, next thing you know there is division sitting there with:

New York Jets
London Chargers
Paris Bills
Dublin Jaguars

I mean this is about ROI and money right? The NFL needs a raise right? If the owners of those teams can convince the other owners that moving their teams from small markets to massive markets makes them more money, then who is stopping this from happening? Again, the NFL doesn't NEED a team in London. Keep the franchises in America and keep the league uniquely American!!

more people from LA will attend games in london then they will in LA

LA just DGAF about the NFL or football in general in LA but they would make an adventure out of going see them in another country just as an excuse to take a trip somewhere

New to capitalism?

I’m sure the league appreciates your analysis and will take it under advisement

And the Patriots still wouldn't have any competition in their division.

but i bet they still spend 2 weeks trying to figure out a way to gift them an even easier permanent schedule

So you are on record as being for this then? Ok, your right. I mean "capitalism" right?
