quote:Oh shite I didn't think about that. Maybe it's good he did it. We could all be so lucky to have him tagged as a boycotted racist business. Quick, somebody call the owner of Chimes East and tell him to do something similar!
Good they do not need your business

It’s more a matter of the franchise claiming bad PR than any factual statements he may have made.

I haven't read this entire thread, but i'm calling it now. He doesn't survive it. It's over. They'll buy him out or pull the franchise or something and this will be one more example of stupid people not shutting the frick up.
Yep, once the news picks it up like they did, game over. CBS will take it from WAFB and run with it. The Walk Ons name will take a mediocre hit as well. I'm going there for lunch today.

Also it’s silly to think stealing candy is a gateway drug to gang violence or prison.

Dude jumped from kids taking free candy on his porch to being shot dead.
If he didn’t want kids taking the candy, he should have gotten off his lazy arse and gave the candy out himself.

So the truth now requires an apology

Being non-PC is apparently worse than being wrong.
If the kids he called out were white, no one gives this a second though.

So people shouldn’t acknowledge facts that are detrimental because it hurts people’s feelings?
F that.
F that.

He acknowledged a fact pattern that is uncomfortable. He should be respected for having the balls to acknowledge this.

Why should he be punished? Is anything he said wrong?
Right or wrong, he said and implied things and he owns a restaurant with a large public image.
All it takes.
If you want to own restaurants and make money in the public eye, just shut the frick up and make money. If you can't do that, then enjoy having a job like people who say things like he said on facebook.

You’re preaching to the choir.
Everyone wants to call everything racist, sexist, whatever, because reality doesn’t conform to their preconceived notions.
Why are certain groups more likely to be behind bars? Because they are far more likely to do shite that is illegal.

Why grown men get on Facebook and post rants like this never ceases to amaze me.

He, and everyone else in the world, knows that whole bowl is getting taken when he leaves the bowl. This isn’t new, it’s not a culture thing, it happens in every neighborhood in the damn country.
Get over yourself.
Get over yourself.

He literally displayed he had self awareness. He just acknowledged something that is “mean” so he should be punished?
Why can some left leaning business owner have any opinion of the conservatives/Christians and not have any backlash. Yet he acknowledges something we all know as fact and everyone loses their mind. Why? Do you think that if we continue to ignore this problem it will go away on its own?

quote:Yeah this is where he fricked up. What he said is 100% right, and I agree wholeheartedly with him. But you gotta save that kind of talk for your private get togethers with friends or family. Not out in the public eye on social media.
