What’s the feeling on the ground re LA gov’s race?

I remember there being a feeling of inevitability in 2014 before the Cassidy-Landrieu runoff and again in 2015 after the Vitter hooker abortion stuff came out. Is there a similar feeling right now or does it feel like it could really go either way?

Rispone is winning it more than people think. Louisiana is Trump country, and Eddie’s strategy is brilliant.

I just know the attorneys I’ve spoken to are worried about it and feel like rispone will win. That says to me that they fear tort reform coming down the pike and that’s probably a good thing for the state.

I am cautiously optimistic that Rispone will win.
I will say the people showing up in my Facebook feed endorsing JBE will not get JBE a single vote. Rispone couldn't have paid for more effective endorsements.

The save JBE push has started already. The 1st day voting narrative is being pushed as “bodes well for JBE” based on what they are saying is increased voting from African/Americans.

The flap of a state supreme court justice (beholden to trial lawyers' GumboPAC for making him look like a fire breathing conservative) offering $5k to a nobody knows who he is city council member to switch his endorsement isn't helping JBE.

Hughes is a real piece of shite
I hope both him and JBE are long gone

I expect a lot of people who typically vote conservative (like myself)...and who voted for JBE as an anti-Vitter vote b/c Vitter is such a scum bag...will return to the good side with Rispone.
I know the Rispone Family, and they are really good people.

Kennedy could have beat Landrieu in 2008 but didn't really campaign until the last few months.
All anyone had to do was post video (if any was around) of Landrieu at Louisiana Office of Emergency Preparedness in the lobby of her, as I saw her in the two days right after Katrina. She or any Landrieu could have won even a dog catcher's position even in New Orleans. Lawd have mercy she didn't give two craps about New Orleanians at all.

He got 46% in the primary and he is polling on average at 47%. He is cooked. There will not be enough Abraham voters that will switch and/or sitout to put him over the top. I think it ends with Edwards pulling close to 48% and Rispone pulling in close to 52%.

Immediately after Katrina, Vitter was the only elected official actually doing anything to help New Orleans. Not Mary, Not Blank Zero, Not Mitch, Not Odom (who was in the lobby moaning about lost tax dollars)

I don't know but I just found out that my mother gets to meet President Trump at the rally in Monroe. I can honestly say that this is the first time that I have ever been jealous of my mother.

This may not be the place to ask that question and expect an unbiased answer.

Dude you got some balls.... Voted that liberal in killing Louisiana jobs and admitting to it. Let me imform you that David Vitter would have been the best thing that ever happened to this state based on his conservative voting record. You got and forced upon me and my family exactly what you deserved...... For the love of God vote conserative every single time..... Tired of fence sitting bitches who change their mind when the wind blows.... And for the record I voted against Obama both times... Not for McCain nor for Romney but against a fricking baby killing democrat
