I’d prefer it be in minny b/c it would be a great scene, and that’s what makes college football great.

They’ll talk about LSU Bama regardless, what does it matter what the background is?
When a notorious crappy team starts playing well and has a case for gameday, and they have never been there before, you have to go.

The other day on Playbook he said that he agreed with Fleck but it would’ve had to have been any other week

It’s amazing how much people care about Gameday. What difference does it make?

I actually don’t want Gameday at this game. It would add zero additional exposure and would only serve as a sideshow distraction. And it won’t be our campus that gets the hype. Let them go to MN.

Look at who they’ve played. Some Group of 5 teams have had harder schedules.

I mean, if your argument is you shouldn't reward easy schedules with a GameDay visit...

The less hype on this game, the better.

They close with Penn St., Iowa, Northwestern, and Wiscy. Then possibly tOSU in the Champ game. They will be 9-3 or 9-4 at year-end. They are not a unique story, they are a team that has played all their cupcakes in the first part of the schedule before they get a reality check.

no, they haven't played the toughest schedule... but they've had similar schedules before and haven't been 8-0 since 1941... so yes, a football team having the best season since World War II is a unique story.

Good.

Do you really need to see a bunch of toothless sister-frickers holding up signs that say "LS-WHO?", a picture of a toilet next to the shape of Louisiana, or some 'witty' sign like "Joe Burrow pours his milk before cereal"?
