Mine was when McDonald's put the kids meal in a plastic boat or the Halloween bucket. That was prob 35 years ago. They used to give good action figures, toys, etc back then
Even cereal boxes had good toys or baseball/basketball cards
And cracker Jack's had real toys

The changeables. I had most of them, but the fries and nugget box were probably my favorite.

McDonalds gave out Gobots at one point... decent quality. Transformers were whooping that arse so badly that I guess Hasbro felt like they had to do something to get by.
Also enjoyed Monopoly. Won a Waterworks 50 dollar credit to Sears once.

I have never eaten at a McDonald's.

I had a shite-ton of The Real Ghostbusters toys they gave out circa 1988. They really were school supplies, like erasers, pencils, pads, and Stay Puft pencil sharpeners.

The Transformer changeable, as already mentioned and the Stomper trucks.

An Earth Day birdfeeder. My grandpa had all sorts of feeders and birdhouses in his backyard, but this thing attracted birds like flies on shite. Must’ve sprayed it down with those unregulated flavor chemicals.
My grandpa and I had a lot of happy moments watching birds on that thing throughout the years. Weird choice, but it’s the only one that stands out.
