So that leak is a few months old but several things have come true, one of which is the 2 latest allied races for WoW. So that gives this some credibility.

If that Diablo 4 leak is true, blizzard is done as a company. Like Diablo immortal was somewhat forgivable because it was assumed to be a holdover title, but actually releasing this dog shite non isometric, non ARPG that destiny 2 is likely way better than? Ouch.

“Video game industry is shite” is the general theme I get from anything I read about it. Too many people want to get in to developing games bc it sounds glamorous on the outside, so workers have no rights since there’s far more workers than jobs, and the workers are fairly low skilled compared to what they used to require to develop. The development engines lower the skill level required to churn out a game. Workers are now easily replaced. And their skills are not easily transferable to another industry. Plus as public facing media creators they’ve been inundated with PC SJW culture

Edit; and margins seem small for them as the pressure is to keep games under a certain box price, so they have to make money elsewhere or cut the fat. Cut the medium skilled workers and leave high experience people and low skill entry level types, resulting in great flashy mechanics with terrible core flaws. Incorporate loot boxes or other methods to generate income without directly increasing the price of game. The whole industry sounds like a bubble tbh. I don’t think it’s sustainable. Something has to give

That shite is old as frick and most likely bullshite. If a green text on 4chan sounds like it is confirming your worst fears it is most likely some fanfic meant to do just that.

People were speculating about those being allied races as soon as BfA launched, so it really doesn't mean much.
