I’ve had two delays already trying to get to MSY. Hungover and scared to trust a fart

BR has an airport too...
Does SW fly into BR? I don’t know. I fly United.

I’ve been driving to md Anderson every week. Not worth the flight. Get a car and go to BR. Made the drive back last night matter a fact. You will still have hour plus ride from NOLA to LSU, if you leave now..

I’m in NOLA now. I was just trying to help the other guy out. I knew United flew into BR but didn’t know about SW.

Mine out of LUV got cancelled, there’ll be at least one empty Seat in the stadium

I’d be pissed too. Although damn it’s ballsy to fly in day-of for a 2:30 game... I don’t trust my luck enough.

I’m willing to bet they moved the existing MSY generators to the new terminal in prep for opening in 2 weeks
That's probably an excellent bet.
They likely wired the backup gensets to the new terminal and cut off the old one. Probably not a big enough generator to serve both so they chose the new building.

She just couldn’t miss the Kasey Musgraves concert last night. I drove down from Nashville yesterday afternoon.

I'm back home. Got bait and switched by Avis. frick it.
The whole point was getting there early and tailgating and seeing friends. Don't want to fight traffic to pull up at 2pm and park. Prob not alert enough for 4+ hour drive either after being up all night watching rugby world cup.

They could have made the backup generators switchable between buildings at greater expense, but didn't.
But think of the money they saved.

That is unbelievable. You just can’t make this shite up.
How does the NTSB or FAA let them get away with removing emergency generators from a INTL airport?
So does that mean all traffic control lost communicating with planes in the air when they lost power?
