We are wanting to get brunch before the game. What’s the best places to get beers or mimosas for the lady friend and some grub? Conveniently located is preferable.

You will probably get Chimes 100 times. Don’t disagree.

Boudin omelette or seafood stuffed French toast at chimes. You'll thank me later.

just pick your girl up a nice McDonald's egg McMuffin and start chugging mimosas on Nicholson.

This is good. By the interstate. It’ll be crowded.
Also another place that is awesome, lesser known and super cool is Overpass Merchant 2904 perkins road

Chimes was already the answer and now they have the rooftop area which is very nice. TV's, couches, and table service. Went before Utah St. and they had nice bloody mary and mimosa specials.

I love Louie's Cafe. Amazing omelettes and waffles. No mimosas. But great food. (However, Chimes is the correct answer)

Simple Joe's on Government! Grits eggs and a pancake.

May need an umbrella if you go Saturday morning.

I'm having merienda before the game at Superior Bar and Grill on Goverment. They open up straight up 11 AM.

Chimes is great and I second the boudin omelet, but good luck getting a table. Last week there was a 5 hr wait. We eventually just went to Louies, but received a call from Chimes when we got to our seats at Tiger Stadium.

Not that close, but:
Olive Or Twist
Opens at 11, $10 bottomless mimosas. Truffle steak and eggs is really good.
Then you can uber as close to the stadium as possible. It's not that bad from that side of town to the shopping center by Walkons.

Sammy’s on Highland has a great boudin omelette. Wife likes shrimp & grits at capitol grill downtown.
Louie’s may be good but honestly never eaten there when I wasn’t in the twilight between drunk and hungover after a night on the town.
